Izzurbrod is the god of the Orcs. He is also their source of population. It is said that every night after a long day of battle, Izzurbrod is hacked to pieces by the other gods. The pieces fall down among his people, the Orcs of the Eight Tribes of Izzurbrod. The Eight Tribes together are known as The Body of Izzurbrod. Each of his parts goes to a different tribe:

* Ironfist
* Longtusk
* Hardfoot
* Keeneye
* Strongarm
* Swiftleg
* Deepchest
* Leatherneck
Each morning, Izzurbrod rises again fully refreshed and regenerated, and fights single-handedly against the gods who fought him the night before.

There are two thoughts on this with orcs. Some believe that it is the essence of Izzurbrod that goes into them, and others that believe they are the true flesh or Izzurbrod. Those who are true-fleshers see half-orcs as abominations to the (actual) body of Izzurbrod. Those who are more spiritual see them as blessed by Izzurbrod but not of the Body.
